LLL of Pennsylvania

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.

La Leche League of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.

La Leche League of Philadelphia has two Groups: Center City and Mount Airy.

  • Center City

    Meetings are currently held on the first Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in the meeting room at Essene Natural Foods Market at 719 S. 4th St.

    Leaders:

  • Mount Airy

    Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month at 10 a.m. at Maternal Wellness Center, 606 Carpenter Lane (Near the High Point Cafe, across from the Weaver's Way Co-op.)
