LLL of Oregon
La Leche League
is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated
to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women
who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La
Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group.
Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International.
The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to
receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.
La Leche League of Yamhill County, Oregon
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding
are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding
help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
LLL of Yamhill County meets on the second Wednesday of every month from 9:00 to
10:30 AM in The First Federal Bank Community Room (next to the bank entrance), 121
N. Edwards St., Newberg, OR 97132. Please note that parking for the meetings is on
the street only, not the bank parking lot.
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their
own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League
International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of
breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding
questions or concerns.

The La Leche League International mission is to help mothers
worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information
and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important
