La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine and use of the Group LLL lending libraries.
If you are a woman interested in breastfeeding, La Leche League welcomes you to its series of monthly meetings based on the book THE WOMANLY ART OF BREASTFEEDING. Breastfeeding is a simple and natural process, but La Leche League can provide moral support, encouragement, and practical, up-to-date information through the mother-to-mother sharing found at Series Meetings.
West Sound La Leche League (Washington)
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
