La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.
If you are a woman interested in breastfeeding, La Leche League welcomes you to its series of monthly meetings based on the book The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is a simple and natural process, but La Leche League can provide moral support, encouragement, and practical, up-to-date information through the mother-to-mother sharing found at Series Meetings.
