La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.

La Leche League of Waconia, Minnesota

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

LLL of Waconia meets on the first Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. Meetings are held at Faith Lutheran Church in Waconia. The address is 800 Waconia Parkway North, Waconia. We meet in the nursery, which is in the main church building, just across from the sanctuary.

Directions: From Highway 5, turn North at CR 10 (McDonald's at the intersection). Go 1.9 miles. Turn right to stay on Waconia Parkway North (also CR 30 - just before a residential development). Go 0.9 miles and you will see the church on your left. If you want to look up directions from your home, please use Mapquest, not Google maps to find us.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone or email whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
