All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding
are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding
help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
Meeting Information
A continuing series of informal discussion meetings are offered and are open
to all women interested in breastfeeding. The series consists of four meetings
that are repeated over the course of the year; we suggest coming to the whole
series before your baby is born. Mothers with babies will find the mother-to-mother
information and support very helpful. Discussions cover topics concerned with:
- Advantages of Breastfeeding to Mother and Baby
- Baby Arrives: The Family and the Breastfed Baby
- The Art of Breastfeeding and Avoiding Difficulties
- Nutrition and Weaning
LLL of Valdosta meets at a private home in Valdosta. Contact the Leader for details
and directions.
