La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.

La Leche League of University City, Missouri

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information.

Meeting Information

La Leche League of University City has three meeting times each month when mothers, fathers, babies and toddlers can gather for informal discussion, questions and to meet other breastfeeding families.

Our Morning meeting is at 10 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Please contact one of the Leaders listed below to learn the current location information.

Our Evening meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month. Please contact one of the Leaders listed below to learn the current location information.

A "drop-in" La Leche Café is held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the first Friday of each month at the St. Louis Bread Company, 6630 Delmar Ave in The Loop.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
