LLL of Michigan

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.

La Leche League of Traverse City, Michigan

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies and toddlers are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

Morning Meetings: Second Tuesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. We meet in the nursery at Christ United Methodist Church on the corner of Three Mile and Garfield Roads.

Evening Meetings: Last Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. We meet at Munson Community Health Center in Classrooms A&B on Munson Ave.

Please contact a Leader if you need directions.

**When Traverse City Public Schools are cancelled due to weather, our meeting will also be cancelled.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
