La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies and toddlers are always welcome at our meetings.
La Leche League of Terre Haute offers:
- Lending library with books on breastfeeding, childbirth, parenting and nutrition
- Mother-to-mother support
- Leaders accredited by La Leche League International
- Latest breastfeeding information
- 24-hour telephone help
Meeting Information
LLL of Terre Haute meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Since meeting dates and locations may change, please call 812-420-1508 for current information. Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
