La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.

La Leche League of Temecula, California

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Pregnant, nursing moms and babies are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

LLL of Temecula serves Temecula, Murrieta, and the surrounding areas.

For the current series we will be meeting the 3rd Friday of the month at 1 p.m. Please contact a Leader for location details.

While our meetings regularly rotate through the following four topics, we always tend to the needs of those in attendance. Meetings follow a schedule of topics which cover the practical, physical and psychological aspects of breastfeeding. You may start the series with any meeting, come as often as you like, and ask any questions regardless of that meeting's topic.

  • Importance of Breastfeeding (July 15)
  • Baby Arrives! The Family and the Breastfed Baby (August 19)
  • The Art of Breastfeeding and Overcoming Difficulties (September 16)
  • Nutrition and Weaning (October 21)

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
