La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to New Beginnings magazine and a discount on items purchased from LLLI.
La Leche League of Taos, New Mexico
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies and toddlers are always welcome at our meetings.
Meeting Information
LLL of Taos meets on the third Tuesday of each month, 10-11:30 a.m.
All meetings are held at the birthing center of the Northern New Mexico Midwifery Center, 1331 Maestas Road, Taos, NM 87571, near Holy Cross Hospital (at intersection of Weimer and Maestas, take a left and the Midwifery Center is on the right after the dialysis center and across from Taos Living Center). In case of inclement weather, please phone the Leader before meeting time for possible cancellation of meeting.

Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
