Joining in a La Leche League group discussion can help you learn about breastfeeding
from other nursing mothers. In our "virtual group", mothers share helpful hints, and also
the benefits and joys of breastfeeding. Being in touch with La Leche League can give you
the network of support you need.
In the Greater St. Louis Toddler Group, we offer:
- An internet space for mothers to discuss the joys and challenges of nursing toddlers or older children
- A way for mothers of toddlers to get needed support and information
- A lending library with books on breastfeeding, childbirth, parenting and nutrition (available to paid members)
- An on-line community that can be accessed at any time from any place
Meeting Information
We are currently meeting face-to-face at 10 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at Kangaroo Kids
in Glendale. The address is 10030 Manchester Road.
We are still available 24/7 online. Visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LLLStLToddler/ and click on the join button. Once you have
joined the discussion group, you can introduce yourself, post questions, look at archive discussions for answers
to frequently asked questions, and share your experience by posting answers to the questions of others. This
group is monitored by accredited La Leche League Leaders.
Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their
own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League
International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of
breastfeeding. They are available by email whenever you have breastfeeding
questions or concerns.
