La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.
La Leche League of Southeast Minnesota
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
Meeting Information
LLL of Southeast Minnesota meets on the second Tuesday of each month in Brownsdale. Please call any Leader listed below for meeting time and location.
Our monthly meetings rotate through the following topics:
- January, May, September — The Advantages of Breastfeeding
- February, June, October — The Family and the Breastfed Baby
- March, July, November — The Art of Breastfeeding and Avoiding Difficulties
- April, August, December — Nutrition and Weaning
Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who are accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. Leaders are ready to offer encouragement, support, information, and practical help to both mothers and interested medical professionals.
