La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine and a discount on items purchased from LLLI.
La Leche League of Santa Maria, California
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
Meeting Information
La Leche League of Santa Maria meets on the third Monday of every month at 10 a.m. at 4630 Song Ln.
Directions: Go West down Foster until it ends. Turn Left on Blosser. Turn Right on Solomon Rd. Turn Left on Song Ln (blue street sign). End at 4630 Song Ln. It is the big brown barn next to the large white farmhouse. Go past the big brown barn and turn left, go up a small hill, and there is parking at the top.
Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
