La Leche League of Issaquah, Washington
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. We offer two meetings each month for breastfeeding mothers in the greater Issaquah area. Nursing children are always welcome at all of our meetings.
Both meetings are at Overlake Medical Center Issaquah, 5708 East Lake Sammamish Parkway S.E., in the classroom.
Series Meetings:
The first Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon.
Topics include:
- The importance of breastfeeding
- The family and the breastfed baby
- The art of breastfeeding and avoiding difficulties
- Nutrition and weaning
Toddler Meetings:
The third Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon.
Topics include:
- Little breastfeeding persons
- Your partner
- Nighttime challenges
- Loving guidance
- Coping with outside pressures
Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone or email whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
