La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

  • Group I - Capistrano Beach

    • Date/Time: 3rd Friday of every month at 10 a.m.
    • Meeting Location: : Capistrano Beach - please call Laura (949) 459-5704 or send email to soclll@yahoo.com for the address and directions

  • Group II - Irvine University United Methodist Church

    • Date/Time: 4th Tuesday of every month 10 a.m.
    • Meeting Location: Irvine University United Methodist Church, 18422 Culver Drive
    • Directions: I-405 freeway to UNIVERSITY. Go towards UCI (west). The church is on the RIGHT at the corner of CULVER and UNIVERSITY. Please call Sierra at (949) 262-0393 to confirm date and time prior to meeting.

  • Toddler Group - Cabot Park, Laguna Niguel

    • Date/Time: 1st Wednesday of every month at 10 a.m.
    • Meeting Location: Cabot Park,Laguna Niguel
    • Directions: I-5 freeway to OSO to CABOT. Turn left on CABOT. Turn right into the park entrance. Please call Laura at (949) 459-5704 to confirm date and time prior to meeting.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns. Leaders are volunteers working from their homes; please call between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m., except for emergencies.
