LLL of California

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.

La Leche League of Southern Orange County, California

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

  • Group I - Ladera Ranch

    • Date/Time: 3rd Friday of every month at 10 a.m.
    • Meeting Location: Flintridge Village Clubhouse, 28112 Roanoke Drive, Ladera Ranch
    • Directions: Exit I-5 freeway at CROWN VALLEY PARKWAY and turn inland towards Ladera Ranch. Turn right onto O'NEILL DRIVE. Turn left on ROANOKE, before the signal. The clubhouse is on your right, just past CHARDONNAY. Please call Kimberly at (949) 716-4747 or email SouthOCLLL@gmail.com to confirm date and time prior to meeting.

  • Group II - Irvine University United Methodist Church

    • Date/Time: 4th Tuesday of every month 10 a.m.
    • Meeting Location: Irvine University United Methodist Church, 18422 Culver Drive
    • Directions: I-405 freeway to UNIVERSITY. Go towards UCI (west). The church is on the RIGHT at the corner of CULVER and UNIVERSITY.

  • Group III - San Clemente

    • Date/Time: 1st Friday of every month 9:30 a.m.
    • Meeting Location: IGO Coffee, Basilone Road, Camp Pendleton Marine Base (meeting is open to all mothers living on or off base)
    • Directions: I-5 freeway south to BASILONE. Go left onto base. Go through entry gate, Please have Drivers License/ID ready for gate guard and tell them you are there for the LLL Meeting at IGO Coffee with Master Sergeant Ledford's wife). Continue straight on the road. There is a shopping center on the right. IGO Coffee is in the middle of the center, next to the library.

  • Toddler Group - Cabot Park, Laguna Niguel

    • Date/Time: 1st Wednesday of every month at 10 a.m.
    • Meeting Location: Cabot Park,Laguna Niguel
    • Directions: I-5 freeway to OSO to CABOT. Turn left on CABOT. Turn right into the park entrance.

  • Evening Meeting

    • Date/Time: 2nd Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m.
    • Meeting Location: Avendale Village Clubhouse, 1 Daisy Street North, Ladera Ranch
    • Directions: Exit I-5 freeway at CROWN VALLEY PARKWAY and turn inland towards Ladera Ranch. Turn right onto SIENNA PKWY. Go left at the traffic circle on DAISY. The clubhouse is on your right.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns. Leaders are volunteers working from their homes; please call between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m., except for emergencies.
