La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
Meeting Information
Janesville Evening Group:
Meets the 1st Thursday of every month from 7-8:30 p.m.
(except in the month of November, when it meets on the second Thursday)
at Cargill United Methodist Church, 2000 Wesley St., Janesville

at Mocha Moment, 1121 Center Ave., JanesvilleMeeting Style:
* Drop-In, sip tea or coffee, have brunch, and relax with us at a public breastfeeding friendly location
* Breastfeeding support and momma conversation
* Small lending library and new mom packets
* Babies welcome, environment may not be suitable for the toddler, use your own discretionJanesville Toddler Group
Meets the 3rd Friday of every month from 10-11:30 a.m.
at Basic's Cooperative, 1711 Lodge Dr., JanesvilleMeeting Style:
* Semi-formal meeting focusing on a specific topic related to tandem nursing, nursing while pregnant and nursing beyond infancy
* Answering any questions/concerns you have
* Lending library and new mom packets
* Babies and children welcomePlaydates are on a day in the fourth week of each month. Locations and times change, so call a Leader for more info.

Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
