La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.

La Leche League of Rock County, Wisconsin

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

LLL of Rock County meets twice each month.

The Evening Group meets on the first Thursday of the month from 7-8:30 p.m. at the YWCA Community Center (Childcare Entrance), 1735 S. Washington St., Janesville, located behind the CARE HOUSE on the corner of S. Washington Street and Conde Street, just west of the stoplights by A&W on Center Ave. (HWY 51).

The Day Group is a Breastfeeding Café which meets on the second Friday of the month from 10:30-Noon at Mocha Moment 1121 Center Ave. in Janesville. You're invited to enjoy a latte, smoothie or sip tea with us and relax at Mocha Moment, a public breastfeeding-friendly business, located on the corner of State St. and Center Ave.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
