La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League International is available, ask your local Leaders for information. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. Membership benefits include a one year online subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.

La Leche League of Rochester, New York offers support and information through:

  • Mother to Mother Support
  • Monthly Meetings
  • Telephone Help from Accredited Leaders. For referral to the Leader nearest you, phone Lifeline at 275-5151.
  • Lending Library (books on childbirth, breastfeeding, and related subjects), occasional Fathers' meetings, Couples' meetings.

La Leche League of Rochester, New York

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

    La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who are accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding.
