La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL of New York, and LLL International.
La Leche League of Rochester, New York
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
Healthcare professionals are welcome to attend meetings, please call the Leader in advance.Check our clickable Google map for Leader locations, updates are ongoing. Morning Meetings:
Rochester North meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 9:45 a.m, except in December. December generally gets moved up to the third Tuesday.

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
For referral to the Leader nearest you, phone Lifeline at 275-5151.Click here to submit a breastfeeding question to an accredited La Leche League Leader. This volunteer will answer your question within a week. If you need an immediate answer, telephone a Leader in your area using a phone number in these webpages.
