LLL of Minnesota and the Dakotas

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.

La Leche League of Rochester, Minnesota

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:45 P.M., at Zumbro Lutheran Church, 624 3rd Ave. SW, Rochester.

Directions from Broadway: Turn West on 6th St. SW, go past the church and turn left on 3rd Ave. SW. Parking is available in the front lot -- follow the steps down to the nursery. Or ramp access is available behind the church from the Soldiers Field Memorial lot and on 7th St. SW. Follow signs to meeting room.

In the event of inclement weather, we ask that you follow the information regarding the Rochester Public school cancellations found via TV stations, radio or internet. If school is cancelled or dismissed early due to weather, the LLL meeting will be canceled.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
