LLL of Minnesota and the Dakotas

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.

La Leche League of Plymouth/Wayzata, Minnesota

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

LLL of Plymouth Wayzata meets the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the West Health Building at 494 & Hwy 55 (Main entrance. Meeting room: go left when entering, first right, at the end of the hallway.)

We also meet the third Tuesday of every month at 10:00 a.m. at the Vision of Glory Lutheran Church in the Nazareth Meeting Room, Plymouth.

Three Enrichment Meetings are held each year with various topics: extended breastfeeding, birth stories, loving guidance, nutrition and more. Contact a Leader for more information.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
