La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.

La Leche League of Pickens Area, South Carolina

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

Anderson:

  • A morning meeting is held on the first Tuesday of the month at 9:30am at the Anderson Library.

Clemson:

  • A morning meeting is held on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. at the Central-Clemson Library meeting room.
  • An evening meeting held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at McClure's Bookstore in downtown Clemson.

Easley:

  • An evening meeting is held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Easley Library.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
