LLL of Pennsylvania

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.

La Leche League of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings!!

Meeting Information

Meetings are currently held twice a month.

Morning meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the meeting room at Essene Natural Foods Market at 719 S. 4th Street in Center City Philadelphia.

Evening meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Snowdrop Nursery at the Waldorf School of Philadelphia at 7500 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19119.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
