La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. La Leche League of Mountain Grove, Missouri
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call the Leader for breastfeeding help or information. Babies and children are always welcome, and each mother watches her own. So that we all can get the most out of our discussion, please attend to your older children. Bringing along quiet activities is helpful.
Meeting Information
LLL of Mountain Grove meets at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Crisis Pregnancy Care Center, near the WIC office and city park.
Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
