La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to New Beginnings magazine and a discount on items purchased from LLLI.
¿Qué es la Liga de La Leche Internacional?
La Liga de la Leche es una organización internacional, sin fines de lucro, no sectaria, dedicada a proveer educación, información, apoyo y motivación a las mujeres que desean amamantar a sus bebés.
Se puede ser miembro de la Liga de La Leche con una contribución de $40 por un año. Con tu colaboración ayudas a que la Liga de La Leche pueda continuar su tarea de apoyo a las madres y sus bebés.
Amamantar es un proceso simple y natural, pero es posible que necesites apoyo e información acerca de la posición apropiada del bebé al seno, trabajar y amamantar, prevenir dificultades, y vencer cualquier dificultad que pueda ocurrir.
Conocer a otras madres que han amamantado a sus bebés puede ser de gran ayuda y tranquilizarte. También es importante tener información actual y correcta.

En este momento, LLL de Moorpark no ofrece reuniones mensuales, pero puede llamar por teléfono a la líder para recibir ayuda . Las Lideres de la Liga de La Leche son madres que han amamantado a sus hijos y que han aprendido cómo ayudar a otras madres que tienen preguntas y dudas sobre la lactancia materna.
