All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding
are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding
help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
We have an e-mail list which serves as reminder for upcoming meetings and events. If you'd

Meeting Information
LLL of Montgomery County East meets on the second Tuesday of
each month at 10 a.m. at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 217 Fernbrook Ave, Wyncote. Our
meeting site can be reached by SEPTA regional rail; Jenkintown Train Station is about
a 10-minute walk.

Enrichment Meetings
Periodic enrichment meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month. These meetings are
discussions of parenting topics of interest to the group. Contact a Leader for more information.

- Oct 28 -- Prenatal Yoga and Yoga for Children. A talk by a yoga instructor.
- Nov 25 -- Acupuncture -- Walter Hackett, certified in Classical Chinese Acupuncture, will
discuss the benefits of acupuncture during childbirth and lactation.
- Dec 16 -- Chiropractic care -- what is it? How can you benefit?
Upcoming Event: ***3rd Annual Mini-Conference***
Saturday, September 20, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Location: Fellowship Hall, next to Calvary Presbyterian Church.
An opportunity for the whole family to spend a day together -- good food, arts and crafts for
the kids (mother's helper childcare provided by Delia), and informative talks about parenting for
moms and dads.
Suggested donation: $20/Family.
Scheduled Topics: Working and Breastfeeding, Home Schooling, Breastfeeding Advocacy
We'll have Continental breakfast and a potluck lunch. This great day is also our major fundraiser
for the year, so invite your friends and family. Call Andy if you want to set up a table with info

Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their
own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League
International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of
breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding
questions or concerns.
