La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Children of all ages are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

We no longer meet at Seidle Memorial Hospital!!

Morning Meetings: We meet on the second Wednesday of the month at 10:30 A.M. at Joseph T. Simpson Public Library in Mechanicsburg. Please contact a Leader for the location of the June and July meetings.

Evening Meetings: We meet on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 P.M. at Your Daily Grind Café in the Carpet Mart plaza on Carlisle Pike.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
