As experienced breastfeeding mothers, LLL Leaders understand the
feelings and concerns of pregnant women and new mothers. La Leche
(pronounced "lay-chay", Spanish for "the milk")
League of the Mat-Su Valley is a part of La Leche League International,
an organization dedicated to "Good Mothering Through Breastfeeding."

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding
are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding
help or information. Nursing babies and children are always welcome. Participants
are welcome to bring nutritious snacks or juice.
Meeting Information
LLL of Mat-Su Valley meets at 6:30 p.m. on the last Thursday of each month at the
Christ First United Methodist Church on the corner of Knik Road (near Tesoro) and Fairview
Loop in Wasilla.
We also hold a Baby Cafe at 10:30 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month at
Pandemonium Booksellers, near Home Depot in Wasilla.
Please confirm with a Leader if you are uncertain of a meeting being held; rare
cancellations do happen.

Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their
own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League
International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of
breastfeeding. They are available by phone when you have breastfeeding
questions or concerns.
