LLL of Nebraska

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.

La Leche League of Lincoln, Nebraska

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Your nursing baby is always welcome at La Leche League meetings.

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.

La Leche League of Lincoln offers a monthly Series Meeting, a weekly Breastfeeding Café, and a monthly meeting for mothers of toddlers. Meetings last about 80 minutes. Even though each meeting has a specific topic, there will be time for questions and concerns. All Leader services are volunteered and free of charge.

  • Friday Weekly Breastfeeding Café

    Meets at 10:30 A.M. at the Eiseley Branch Library, 1530 Superior Street. We meet every Friday morning (except holidays), discussing a variety of breastfeeding topics related to preparing for baby's arrival, getting started with breastfeeding, the early months of breastfeeding, weaning your baby and everything in between!

    Meets at 10:00 A.M. at the Warren United Methodist Church, 1205 N. 45th Street, (45th & Orchard) Use Orchard Street entrance.
