La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.
La Leche League of Lexington, South Carolina
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
Meeting Information
LLL of Lexington meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 26 Corley Mill Road, in Lexington. We meet in the nursery; park to the left of the sanctuary and look for signs.
DIRECTIONS: From Interstate 20, take Lexington Exit/Hwy. 378, toward Lexington. Turn right on Corley Mill Rd. Church is on the right.
New for 2007, the Lexington LLL group will have an additional evening meeting. Starting in January, we will meet on the 4th Thursday of the month at 6:30 at Zion Lutheran Church in the nursery.
Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
