La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. La Leche League of the Midlands, South Carolina
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
Meeting Information
LLL of the Midlands meets in Lexington on the second Thursday of every month at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 226 Corley Mill Road. We meet in the nursery; park to the left of the sanctuary and look for signs. (Directions: From Interstate 20, take the Midlands Exit/Hwy. 378, toward Lexington. Turn right on Corley Mill Rd. Church is on the right.)
Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
