La Leche League of Lenexa/Shawnee, Kansas

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information.

Nursing babies and older siblings are always welcome at our meetings, and we understand that children have a lot of energy and enthusiasm. To keep the noise level down and to keep everyone safe, we ask that all children use "walking feet" and "inside voices" while being closely supervised by their mothers during our meetings. Because of the nature of our discussion, please decide if your child(ren) would be happier at home with a loving caregiver.

Meeting Information

LLL of Lenexa/Shawnee meets at 7:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month in the Youth Room in the basement of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 7740 Lackman, in Lenexa.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.

For information about other La Leche League Groups in the Kansas City Metro Area, please call (816) 361-0909.
