La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine and a discount on items purchased from LLLI.

La Leche League of Lenawee County, Michigan

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Nursing babies are always welcome at our meetings!

We offer support and information through:

  • Mother-to-Mother support
  • Monthly meetings
  • Telephone help from accredited Leaders
  • A lending library with literature on common nursing questions and challenges
  • Information about La Leche League International

Meeting Information

LLL of Lenawee County meets on the first Monday of every month, excluding September when we meet on the second Monday of the month. Our meetings are held from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and cover a variety of topics. For more information about this local Group, including the location of meetings, contact the Leader.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.

When you call a Leader, you are calling a private home. Please call between the hours of 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.
