La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
All support meetings and telephone help are free. Leaders work as volunteers. Your donation helps cover the cost of meeting space, information materials, outreach and other Group expenses. A contribution of any amount is greatly appreciated!

All mothers and mothers-to-be who are interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Children of all ages are always welcome at our meetings.
Meeting Information
Weekly L.A. Lunch Meetings are every Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Sanctuary Birth & Family Wellness Center, 11965 Venice Blvd, Suite 307, Los Angeles, CA 90066. Feel free to bring your lunch or please contact Nicole at 323-595-4006 or nicole@the-womb.org to pre-order lunch.
The West L.A. Meeting is on the second Monday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Bede's Church, downstairs church hall, 3590 Grand View Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90066. For questions about this meeting, please call Susan at 310-454-2251.
The Santa Monica Morning Meeting is on the third Tuesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at 1119 Broadway, #D, Santa Monica, CA 90404. For questions about this meeting, please call Hedi at 310-819-0408.

Staying Connected - Online Information
Our group also provides online support for moms in Los Angeles to stay connected between meetings. We welcome you to join our Yahoo Group. Mainly a discussion forum where parents can share experiences, advice and support much like the exchange that happens at a La Leche meeting, moms receive meeting announcements and other information that may be relevant to their nursing experience. All are encouraged to sign up.
