LLL of Indiana

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.

La Leche League of Greenwood/South Indy, Indiana

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

Greenwood/South Indy La Leche League series meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. and on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. We meet at Methodist Medical Plaza Community Room, 8830 South Meridian Street (west side of SR 135, north of County Line Rd.). Please use the Community Room entrance on the southwest side of the building.

Our meetings are cancelled if Greenwood schools are closed or delayed for inclement weather.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
