LLL of South Carolina

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.

La Leche League of Greenville, South Carolina

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

LLL of Greenville meets on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Natural Baby, 11 College Street, Greenville, SC 29601. Natural Baby is located on College Street across from the BB&T Building. A map of the area can be found here. There is plenty of parking on College and Main Streets and in the Mall 200 parking garage across North Laurens Street from the Cafe and Then Some, half a block from Natural Baby.

These meetings are a rotating series of four topics.

  • Meeting 1: The Advantages of Breastfeeding
  • Meeting 2: The Family and the Breastfed Newborn
  • Meeting 3: The Art of Breastfeeding and Overcoming Difficulties
  • Meeting 4: Beyond Newborn Nursing: Nutrition and Weaning

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
