La Leche League of Dubois County, Indiana

Meeting Information

The Dubois County La Leche League group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. to discuss breastfeeding issues. Check your local paper for the location, but it is usually held at the Grace Lutheran Church in Huntingburg (104 West 3rd Avenue).

All pregnant and nursing moms (including working moms!) from Dubois County and the surrounding area (including Spencer, Perry, Daviess, Martin, Pike, Orange, Crawford, and Warrick Counties!) are welcome to attend with their babies and children.

La Leche League meetings emphasize the advantages of breastfeeding while they inform and encourage mothers who wish to nurse their babies. LLL offers mother-to-mother help in a rotating series of four meetings based on the book THE WOMANLY ART OF BREASTFEEDING, published by La Leche League International.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding.
