La Leche League of Delta County, Michigan

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Breastfeeding is a simple and natural process, but you may need support. Our meetings provide information on the correct positioning of the baby at the breast, working and breastfeeding, avoiding problems, and overcoming any difficulties that may occur.

Knowing other women who have breastfed their babies can be helpful and reassuring. Having accurate, up-to-date information is also important. Attending La Leche League meetings can help you learn about breastfeeding from other nursing mothers. At these monthly meetings, mothers share not only their questions and concerns, but also the joys and benefits of breastfeeding. Being in touch with La Leche League can give you the network of support you need. Babies and toddlers are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

Delta County LLL meets every second Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Our meetings are held in the nursery of Immanuel Lutheran Church located at 600 South Lincoln Road, Escanaba, Michigan (near Christian Park Nursing Home).
