La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. La Leche League of Cape Girardeau, Missouri
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies and toddlers are always welcome at our meetings.
Meeting Information
LLL of Cape Girardeau meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. Please phone a leader for meeting location and topic. At every meeting, we offer our lending library, and copies of THE WOMANLY ART OF BREASTFEEDING for sale.
Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
