La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
Meeting Information
Evening Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month (no evening meeting in July) at 7:00 p.m., at Bloomington Area Birth Services, 2458 South Walnut Street (NW corner of Walnut & Country Club/Winslow).
Morning meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month (no meeting in January) at 10 a.m. at the First United Church, Room #1, 2420 East Third Street (SW corner of E. 3rd St. & S. Woodcrest Ave.)

- AM meetings: If MCCSC closes school or has a 2-hour delay, LLL is cancelled.

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
