La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.
La Leche League of Berrien County, Michigan
All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.
Meeting Information
LLL meetings are the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph Public Library.
Playgroup meets at 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. every Thursday at the library. During May, June, July, August, and September we move to Kiwanis Park off of Langley as long as the weather is good and it has not rained that morning. On days with poor weather we meet back at the library.

Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. We are happy to talk to you on the phone, make a home or hospital visit if needed, and also carry many breastfeeding supplies in the rare case you may need them. Please call any time.
