La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.

La Leche League of Beloit, Wisconsin

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

LLL of Rock County is now offering meetings in Beloit.
When: the 1st Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Where: the First Presbyterian Church, 501 Prospect Street in Beloit
Meeting Style:

  • Espanol and English Interpreter & Materials
  • ASL Interpreter
  • Semi-formal meeting focusing on a specific topic
  • Answering any questions/concerns you have.
  • Lending library and new mom packets
  • Product for sale
  • Babies, children & dads welcome

Beloit Weekend Group: "The Breastfeeding Cafe"
When: 3rd Saturday of every month from 10:30-Noon
Where: Please call for new location information
Meeting Style:

  • Drop in, sip tea, have brunch, and relax with us at a public breastfeeding-friendly location.
  • Breastfeeding support and momma conversation
  • Small lending library and new mom packets
  • Babies welcome, environment may not be suitable for the toddler, use your own discretion

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
