La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.

La Leche League of Beaumont, Texas

All women, whether they are currently breastfeeding, pregnant or simply interested in breastfeeding, are welcome to come to our meetings or call our Leaders, regardless of how long you have or plan to breastfeed. Babies and young children are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

LLL of Beaumont meets on the second Thursday of each month at 9:45 a.m.

The current series of meetings will be held at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys, in Beaumont.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.

The La Leche League International mission is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and the mother.
