La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.

La Leche League of Beaches/Clairemont, California

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies and siblings are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

Beaches/Clairemont LLL meets on the fourth Thursday of every month at 10:30 a.m. at the Carmel Valley Library on Townsgate Place. We typically do not meet in November and December due to holidays.

There are seven groups that meet monthly in the San Diego area. If you'd like to have a series meeting notice mailed to you, please call (858) 646-9779.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.

If you have breastfeeding questions, or need help, please call the referral number. Please do not send breastfeeding questions by email.
