LLL of California

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League USA can be obtained from your local La Leche League Group. Membership fees help to support your local Group, LLL USA, and LLL International. The benefits of membership vary from Group to Group. Ask your LLL Leader how to receive a free electronic copy of New Beginnings.

La Leche League of Beaches/Clairemont, California

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies and siblings are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

Beaches/Clairemont LLL meets on the fourth Thursday of every month at 10:30 a.m. Currently meetings are held at a private residence. Email Michelle or Jennifer for more information.

The Central San Diego meeting is held on the first Thursday of every month at the Mission Valley library, and a Toddler meeting is held on the second Thursday of the month at different locations each month. Contact a Leader for more information.

There are seven Groups that meet monthly in the San Diego area. If you'd like to have a series meeting notice mailed to you, please call (858) 646-9779.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
