La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to New Beginnings magazine and a discount on items purchased from LLLI.
Adoptive Breastfeeding (WI)
Mindy has successfully adoptively breastfed and counseled several adoptive mothers through the process of ABF. Mindy provides information on how to induce lactation and adoptively breastfeed infants joining the family from birth to 1 year old. A great deal of support, encouragement, and accurate information is needed to successfully breastfeed an adopted child, and Mindy is happy to help you on your journey. Please call or email for more information and support. Please consider that the earlier a mother starts the process, the more success she will have in inducing a full supply.
Meeting Information
While there are no support meetings currently being held, if the need is present, a regular meeting will begin!
Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
