Donation Jar

Dear Magic Valley Merchant:

August 1-7 is has been proclaimed World Breastfeeding Week by World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action in conjunction with the World Health Organization and UNICEF. La Leche League of Magic Valley joins in this celebration! The theme for this year's week is Breastfeeding in an Information Age.

We are asking for your support to increase breastfeeding awareness among your clientele, which is predominantly women, with a small display by your cash register or other prominent spot. La Leche League of Magic Valley will provide a small stack of flyers that highlight how to contact La Leche League, including phone, e-mail, postal mail, fax, etc. We will also provide a small donation jar, which says, “Join (Your Business) in supporting breastfeeding outreach in the Magic Valley. Make a donation to La Leche League today.”

Optimally, the display will run from August 1-7. Some areas celebrate for the entire month of August, and we’d welcome a longer display if that works for you!

We will contact you in late July to confirm participation. We hope to deliver the flyers and donation container July 31. Thank you for considering this outreach proposal.
