Letters to Solicit Donations
This category includes ideas for letters as well as many samples of solicitation letters used by Groups. One of the letters included (Letters to Elicit Contributions) which was created by Jane Tuttle of Lawrence, Kansas, enabling her to raise over $2000 for a past World Walk (Jane was the Grand Prize Walk winner that year). In 2002, Robin Rziha with the Great Bend, Kansas, Group used the same letter and sent it to hundreds of friends, family, and mothers she had helped over the years. This letter helped Robin to raise over $2000 in donations and made her the Grand Prize Walk winner for 2002 and 2003. It's a great letter!
