One of the wonderful experiences at a La Leche League Conference is browsing through the Bookstore. Be sure to visit the Conference Bookstore, located with the Conference Boutique. There will be a wide selection of books about breastfeeding, parenting, children, communication and family health. An assortment of children’s books and gift items will also be featured.

Suggest a book in the month of April:
The Area Conference Bookstore Committee is always striving to improve your Conference experience. We would like to invite you during the month of April to take part in book selection. We welcome title suggestions and will try to accommodate as many as possible. We do ask that you provide us with both the title and author so that we may be sure to request the right title. We will offer a wide variety of books, children's books showing nursing babies, Leader supplies, professional material, etc. Please forward any suggestions to Laura Roland or 913-768-7581.

Book Pre-orders in April:
Don’t miss out on buying several newly published books. Pre-ordering is the key to assure those books are on hand for all. Talk to your co-Leader and Group Librarian to get ideas about the wish list. During the month of April we will take pre-orders. By pre-ordering, you and/or your Group will have your selected titles set aside for you in the Conference Bookstore. Payment for the books can be made at the Area Conference Bookstore. We ask that you pick up your books before closing time on Saturday, June 3, 2006. Take a look at the LLLI catalogue and then forward your list to Laura Roland or 913-768-7581. The last date pre-orders will be accepted is Monday, April 25, 2006.
