The LLLI Alumnae Association is the vehicle through which La Leche League members and Leaders continue
a lifelong affiliation with LLLI. Membership in the Alumnae Association is offered as a natural transition
for retiring Leaders who want to maintain their LLL connection, as well as for active Leaders and members
who wish to expand the application of LLL philosophy into other stages of their lives.
In addition to LLL Group meetings, welcoming spaces for pregnant or breastfeeding moms are available throughout the country. Come and share your experiences and to support one another. Accredited La Leche League Leaders are present to answer questions, and provide information and support. Light snacks and a lending library are often available. Children are welcome. These casual free get-togethers are a great place to meet like-minded friends.

LLL in the USA World Breastfeeding Week Celebrations are five months of awareness raising events and individual fundraising to highlight the mission of La Leche League in our communities and among those we know.
The 2007 WBWC theme is The Power of One. The Power of One may refer to the first hour after birth, the first pumping of breastmilk for a baby in the NICU, a mother's first LLL meeting, etc.
