Neighborhood meetings are the heart and soul of La Leche League. There you will meet other breastfeeding mothers, learn about breastfeeding management, discuss parenting issues with other mothers, and feel comfortable in an environment where breastfeeding is the norm. La Leche League offers a series of monthly meetings that discuss the following general topics:

• The importance of breastfeeding
• Childbirth and the early days with the new baby
• The art of breastfeeding and avoiding difficulties
• Nutrition and weaning

All breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call a Leader for breastfeeding help and information. Children and babies are welcome.
