The World Breastfeeding Week Celebrations Team is delighted to offer a beautiful full-color donation brochure, Help Us Give Gold Medal Support.  We have several thousand brochures thanks to the generosity of LLL of Durham PM, North Carolina and our Elite Sponsors, ERGO Baby Carrier, Inc. and Motherlove Herbal Company (both are dual sponsors of WBWC and the Helpline).

The time to process your order can take up to two weeks and it will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Five brochures will fit in one legal-sized envelope with a 59-cent stamp. The number shipped may be limited to accommodate more Groups.

• LLL in the USA 2008 WBWC theme this year is the same as the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) - Mother Support: Going for the Gold. We have a different logo, one designed just for the USA!

2007 World Breastfeeding Week Celebration Winners

World Breastfeeding Week Celebrations for 2007 ended September 30.  Over 7000 people participated in events across the USA raising over $68,000.  Your fundraising efforts will be used to continue La Leche League in the USA efforts to help mothers and babies know the joys and benefits of breastfeeding. 

FIRST PRIZE WINNERS:  The 2007 WBWC had two 1st Prize winners.  Individually they raised over $2000--winning $500 La Leche League educational scholarships.

GROUP REBATES:  The following US Groups received a total of $3507.51 in 5%, 6.5%, 8% or 10% rebates depending on how much over $750 their Groups raised. 

INDIVIDUAL WINNERS:  Fifty-seven Amazon Gift Certificates were awarded to individuals who raised between $250 and $1999.
