La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. Membership benefits include a one year online subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.

All breastfeeding and pregnant women, along with their babies and children, who are interested in learning more about breastfeeding are welcome to come to one of our meetings or call our Leaders for breastfeeding help. There are no fees for La Leche League Meetings or helping calls but we invite you to support the organization by purchasing a membership.
Meeting Information
Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:45 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Utica, NY, AND on the third Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church at 108 Court St. in Rome, NY. In case of bad weather, please call a leader to verify that the meeting is not cancelled.
Leader Information
La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone or email whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
