La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. All breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings or call our Leaders for breastfeeding help.

Membership in La Leche League is $40 for one year. The membership fee helps support local Groups, our Area, and the international organization. Membership benefits include a one year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine and a discount on items purchased from the LLLI Catalogue.

A continuing series of informal discussion meetings are offered in Ramapo and Clarkstown. Mothers, mothers-to-be and babies are always welcome at our meetings! The Clarkstown Group meets the second Wednesday of each month 10AM-12PM. Meetings in Ramapo are held on the third Thursday of every month from 10AM-Noon. Please call a leader for locations and directions.

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who are accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. La Leche League Leaders are available for phone calls regarding meeting information and whenever you have breastfeeding questions that cannot wait until the next meeting.
